Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy approach that helps people process difficult experiences and reduce the emotional impact of painful memories. Using guided techniques such as eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain reprocess experiences so they feel less overwhelming and easier to manage. EMDR can be helpful for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, grief, low self-esteem, and negative beliefs that may have developed from past experiences. Many people find that EMDR helps them move forward without feeling stuck in the pain of the past.
