Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based approach to therapy that helps people better manage intense emotions, navigate stress, improve relationships, and respond to challenges in healthier ways. DBT teaches practical skills for mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication. It can be especially helpful for individuals who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, struggle with anxiety, depression, mood swings, impulsive behaviors, self-harm, relationship conflicts, or difficulty coping with life's challenges.
